NASI Difference

NASI can be distinguished from other investigation firms through several factors. NASI principals have a breadth of experience and expertise in conducting field surveillance in the City of Los Angeles through their many years of distinguished service as high-ranking Los Angeles Police Department command staff officers, and now utilize this experience in the private sector throughout the United States. NASI is also committed to providing immediate access to its clients, and has implemented a 24 hour on-call system whereby clients can immediately notify NASI of an incident or accident that necessitates investigation. NASI representatives are extremely detail-oriented, thorough, and experienced in providing clients with timely, accurate, and efficient field investigations and surveillance.

NASI currently offers a full range of field investigative services to insurance companies, third party administrators, and private companies throughout the United States, and has been providing investigation services to clients through its subsidiary, North American Security, Inc., since 2006. Representative clients include Bev Cap Management Insurance Captive (Budweiser), Coastal Employment Staffing and Leasing, Robertson's Ready Mix Concrete, Tire Dealer’s Captive Insurance, and Employer Support Group, Inc. NASI is also a preapproved "panel" investigation firm for Avizent Risk Management Solutions, and provides covert surveillance for fraud in liability and workers' compensation claims, as well as background investigations. NASI is capable of overseeing investigations throughout the continental United States, but most frequently provides investigative services in California, Arizona, Texas, and Washington.

NASI's pattern and practice is to provide timely, accurate and thorough investigations which exceed its clients' expectations. NASI representatives are available seven days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. NASI utilizes an on-call system for immediate notification of accidents/incidents requiring an on-site investigation, and currently serves as the on-call investigation firm for all accidents and incidents involving a large Anheuser-Busch distribution service in the southwestern United States.

NASI representatives are in constant contact with client representatives regarding ongoing and completed investigations

NASI is able to provide on-site field investigators within one hour of notification when accidents or incidents require immediate investigation. NASI also ensures that its investigators arrive on time for any and all scheduled assignments, including investigations and surveillance that occur after normal business hours and on weekends and holidays.

NASI Senior Staff Investigator Doug Iversen supervises and manages all field investigative surveillance, and ensures that the field investigators provide comprehensive written reports and surveillance documentation in the form of photographs, video recordings, notes, and any other research documentation. NASI Chief Operating Officer Angela Lopez and Qualified Manager Isidro Lopez review all written reports and investigation documentation to ensure that the surveillance is thorough and in compliance with all applicable legal authorities. NASI Qualified Manager Isidro Lopez and NASI Case Manager Kimberly Jackson manage the assignments scheduled for NASI investigators, conduct background checks on all investigators, and ensure that only licensed and insured investigators are used for NASI investigations.

NASI complies with all local, state, and federal laws. NASI's principals have a thorough understanding of the laws and regulations governing investigations, and NASI Vice President Angela Lopez is a practicing attorney charged with ensuring legal and regulatory compliance in NASI investigations. NASI principals are thoroughly involved in the supervision and management of each surveillance conducted by NASI field investigators, and continually monitor those investigations to ensure that the all local, state, and federal laws are followed.
